If you're near Nairobi and hunting for a cozy retreat, Annie's shouldn't be overlooked. My family and I recently enjoyed our stay in one of their charming cottages, feeling both welcome and at ease. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with Peter serving a hearty meal that set us up for our adventures. While the cottage was incredibly homely, there's no escaping the traffic noise outside, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. The trade-off includes private outdoor space perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco on a sunny day. The property is well-fitted with a kitchen stocked with cookware, making meal prep easy. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV for some downtime. The comfortable bed and linens allowed us to rest well after days filled with exploration. Plus, with an outdoor dining area and ample space for the kids to play, it truly felt like a home away from home. While it leans towards the luxurious side of the spectrum, the overall value is definitely there, especially considering the level of privacy and comfort. Just maybe plan your timing ahead to avoid the rain!
